ONE Exhibition, Three Venus, Sixty five Artists
A first exhibition of its kind called "Contemporary Local Print" will bring a collaboration of 3 Jerusalem art institutes: The Jerusalem Art Workshop, the New Gallery @ Naggar School and The Teddy Gallery.
The exhibition will presents a comprehensive contemporary picture of the Israeli printing industry. The medium of the print crosses definitions and practices, combining technical knowledge with unique expression possibilities, ranging from painting, drawing, sculpture and photography, between one-time and multiplicity, between control and chance. Even in the 21st century, the ancient field attracts artists from many disciplines and is an inseparable part of contemporary art. The exhibition includes two-dimensional and three-dimensional works, artist books, installations, video and animation – all created in various print techniques over the past five years by 65 artists and artists.
Opening event: Friday 3.8.18
